Host a Drive

Your company, school, church or organization can help save lives. By holding blood drives at your site, you can make blood donation convenient and provide essential support to patients right here in your community.

Most of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. That means that you, your family, and your peers would need the support of volunteer blood donors. By sponsoring a blood donation program at your site, you and your group can help save lives.

Bloodmobile


The Blood Bank is on the move daily with two bloodmobiles traveling to neighborhoods throughout Oahu.

This type of drive is most suitable for smaller companies or those without sufficient space to host an in-house blood drive.

Companies should have the following:

• A level parking area large enough to host a 40-foot vehicle (approximately 10 parking stalls).

• Restroom facilities nearby.


In-house drive


If your organization has appropriate facilities, the Blood Bank can set up a mobile collection site at your organization. An in-house drive would be most suitable for organizations that have the following:

• A large, cool, well-lit room.

• Restroom facilities nearby and ample electric outlets.

• Tables and chairs available for blood drive use.


Dillingham and Downtown Donor Centers


Your organization can conduct a mini-blood drive by sending donors to either:

• Dillingham Donor Center,
2043 Dillingham Blvd.

• Downtown Donor Center,
126 Queen St.
