Put Something On Your “To Do” List That Saves Lives.

Give Blood.
It’s Safe.
It’s Simple.
It Saves Lives.

Today, Jasmine is a perfect picture of health. When she was born that wasn’t the case. Jasmine had major heart problems and spent seven long months in the hospital. After one of her open heart surgeries, Jasmine was hooked up to 13 I.V. pumps, 2 chest tubes, 3 wires, 3 EKG leads, Arterial Line, Pulse Oximeter, Ventilator and a Nasogastric tube.

In Jasmine’s fight to live, she needed 98 units of blood. That gift of life came from volunteer blood donors.

More than half the population will need blood during their lifetime – cancer patients, new born babies, accident victims, etc. The picture of Jasmine in the hospital is not pretty, but it’s real. What’s also real is that it takes 250 blood donors each day to meet the needs of Hawaii patients.

Meet Chelsea, Natalie and Andrew!
