Three Lives In About An Hour
HONOLULU,
HAWAII – November 1, 2004 - The Blood Bank of Hawaii
Dillingham Donor Center
will be open on the last Sunday of every month for whole blood and
plateletapheresis donations.
This addition to Blood Bank business hours is consistent with the need
for blood every day. “Because the need for blood is never-ending, we
must to do what we can to maintain a steady collection of blood
donations,” said BBH Donor Services Director Aaron Knapp. The new donor
center schedule is also intended to accommodate more of those who prefer
to give the gift of life during the weekend.
Dillingham Donor Center Hours:
- Monday
- 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday
– 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday – 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Thursday – 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Friday
– 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday – 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Sunday
– (Apheresis by appointment only) Whole blood is collected the last
Sunday of every month from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
