Drives Needed In December And January
Could your
company or organization increase collection goals or host an additional
drive to help meet the needs of Hawaii's patients during the season most
known for giving?
If so, you’d
give the blood supply a much needed boost during an eight week period
that includes Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.
“Traditionally, holidays mean low blood donor turnout as schedules get
hectic with festive activities, shopping, and special vacation plans,”
explained BBH Director of Donor Services Aaron Knapp. “We are very
grateful to the organizations that have scheduled drives during this
time when the demand for blood products often outpaces the supply.”

representative.
