Meet The Mobile Manager

With ten years of experience at the Blood Bank of Hawaii, Mobile Manager Jill Cabinatan knows what it takes to make a blood drive run smoothly.
She oversees blood collection on the bloodmobile, at neighbor island drives and at on-site drives held by various companies and organizations throughout the state.
“I try to contact coordinators prior to the blood drives to discuss logistics and answer any questions they may have,” she explained. “This helps our nursing team to prepare properly and gives us an opportunity to discuss ideas and concerns.”
Blood drive coordinators will find Cabinatan working hard to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
“I welcome feedback from coordinators and donors,” she said. “Together we can make our blood drives more efficient and improve the donation process.”
Cabinatan is a Registered Nurse with an associate’s degree from Kapiolani Community College. Prior to being named BBH mobile manager, she was a phlebotomist and blood drive team leader.
