Pumping Up For The Final Quarter

With the end of the year just around the corner, it’s time for a final push to meet your organization's blood drive goals for the year.

Your Blood Bank of Hawaii (BBH) field representative will call you this month to update your collection statistics and to assist with any additional recruitment efforts needed.

“It’s important that pre-determined goals are met to cover the daily blood usage in our state,” explained BBH Director of Donor Services Aaron Knapp. “We're here to help anyway that we can.”
With more blood needed than ever before, Blood Bank of Hawaii Lifesaver Clubs bring in half of the state’s blood supply.

“You provide an important service to your employees, Hawaii’s patients, and to the entire community,” said Knapp. “Your commitment and your hard work are greatly appreciated.”
