New User-Friendly Clipboard Brochure
The literature included on the clipboard with every blood donor questionnaire has a new look and updated information.
The three-panel brochure now in use includes information about:
- Blood testing
- Unacceptable high-risk activity
- Confidential AIDS testing sites
- Mad cow disease
- Travel restrictions
- Other deferral information
It is intended to help convey important blood safety guidelines and help potential donors determine if they’re eligible for donation prior to undergoing the complete medical history interview.
Federal regulations require that it be read by every potential donor prior to filling out the blood donor questionnaire.
