Volunteer Positions
- Telephone Recruiter, a.k.a. Donor Services Representative
Calls donors on a one on one basis. Interviews/screens prospective donors and updates information accordingly. Requires strong communication, customer service & interpersonal skills.
- Driver
Delivers blood to and from the Blood Bank of Hawaii to area hospitals. Adheres to safety precautions and guidelines as determined by the Blood Bank of Hawaii when handling blood and/or blood products. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Outgoing individual who enjoys meeting people and saving patient lives. Must have clean driving record.
- Nursing Services Support Volunteer
Provides support to Nursing Services staff in the Mobile Preparations area by performing a variety of tasks, to include assisting with stocking shelves, etc., for upcoming blood drives. Assists also with special projects. Able to follow directions and possess strong interpersonal skills
